The ACS Publications Forum: Environmental Science & Sustainable Chemistry is in partnership and in conjunction with the 10th National Conference on Environmental Chemistry (NCEC) at Nankai University in Tianjin, China from August 15-19. The one-day ACS Publications Forum will be held on Saturday, August 17 followed by a half day ACS on Campus program on Sunday, August 18.
The forum features scientific lectures from 13 international and local speakers, including participation from Editors of Environment Science & Technology, Environmental Science & Technology Letters, Chemical Research in Toxicology, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, and ACS Earth and Space Chemistry. Session topics include air quality, environmental toxicology, geochemistry, and sustainable chemistry and engineering. The half-day ACS on Campus program features interactive lectures on scholarly publishing and professional development with the ACS Editors.
ACS Publications is a division of the American Chemical Society and a nonprofit scholarly publisher of nearly 50 peer-reviewed journals and a range of eBooks at the interface of chemistry and allied sciences, including physics and biology. ACS Publications journals are among the most cited, most trusted and most read within the scientific literature.
The biennial National Conference on Environmental Chemistry (NCEC) is hosted by the Environmental Chemistry Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and the Environmental Chemistry Branch of the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences. The theme of the conference is “Pollution Prevention and Control, Leading a New Era of Environmental Science”. Nankai University, the conference organizer, is a famous university with a long history. It will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2019.
The American Chemical Society is honored to partner with the 10th National Conference on Environmental Chemistry for a one-day forum on August 17, 2019 highlighting sustainable and environmental chemistry. The program will feature four sessions: air quality, environmental toxicology, geochemistry, and sustainable chemistry and engineering. Speakers include ACS Editors and leading researchers in environmental science.
